The current use of health index algorithms is mainly limited to single assessments the unit’s condition or device comparison. paper focuses on changes in values between consecutive analyses. algorithm used for this purpose was previously developed by authors. test group included 359 complete oil evaluation results from 86 power transformers monitored over several years. For each outcome, influence sub-components main score calculated. Additional increase simulations were performed based IEC 60599 standard guidelines. highest increases and decreases total listed analyzed determine factors behind changes. study has shown that dissolved gases concentrations have a much more significant than physicochemical properties furfural content. Based magnitude observed simulation outcomes, authors proposed two assessment thresholds—the 50th percentile within population as an alarm zone, 90th 95th pre-failure zone.
